During this winter vacation, I read the book "David Copperfield". This book describes the tragic childhood of the main character and his success through unremitting efforts. In the book, David's childhood is extremely tragic and full of darkness. First his father dies of illness, then his father brutally beats himself, and he is sent to boarding school, where he is also threatened by the principal, but his time at school is not all that violent. He made at least a few friends, but there are good and bad friends, in front of the apparently good but bad friends inside, David did not even notice, so that later brought misfortune to his family. After a series of trials and tribulations, David grows up to be an adult, and with the memories of his childhood and his unremitting efforts, David eventually changes his fate, thus forming a harmonious family and gaining success in his career.

This book has inspired me a lot. Some people say that God has planned a long and unchangeable journey for man since he was born. But this book refutes that statement. David was sad, that is undeniable. But his subsequent efforts led him to change his fate and come out of the shadows. I understand that "David Copperfield" is only a novel, not convincing enough, but in front of each example, this little book is telling people: at the door of fate, only fear not to try, as long as you try, God must give you a chance to "choose" your own fate. In the face of many events, effort may not be the main solution to the problem, but it is an important element that is indispensable.

David Copperfield" sounds like a person's name, but how can it be a book? I did see this book today, and I benefited from reading it.

The main character, David Copperfield, lost his father at birth and his mother remarried to a despicable man who was extremely harsh to David and his mother. After his mother's death, he first went to Mr. Micawber's house and later to his aunt's house, and his fate was tumultuous and his life was turbulent. After experiencing various sorrows and joys, David finally gets together with his beloved Ennis, and the book ends in a happy atmosphere.

The main character David can not sink in the hardships and twists because of his positive spirit and persistent efforts. Just like the main character Santiago in The Old Man and the Sea, he fights bravely, not giving up in the constant attacks of sharks, but fighting back more forcefully. Faced with the hardships of life, David did not despair, "the courage to choke the throat of fate" (Beethoven's words), and his optimistic attitude all the time influenced us.

In the future, we should have a positive spirit, optimism and perseverance in dealing with people, so that we can really succeed.

The main character of the text, David Copperfield's father died six months after David's birth, and when David was eight years old, her mother married Mr. Modestone, who and his sister were hard-hearted, and they did not like David, always thought of ways to abuse David, and also tortured Dawei's mother to death.

After David's mother died, his stepfather stopped letting him go to school and forced David to work as a child laborer.
