I’m Lin Xiao, a journalism student who believes photos can tell stories better than words. I’ve been taking photos for four years, starting with a second-hand DSLR my uncle gave me. My favorite subjects are street scenes—old bakers arranging bread, children chasing pigeons, elderly couples walking hand in hand.

I’m proficient in Lightroom and Photoshop, especially in color grading to enhance mood. Last summer, I held a small exhibition of my street photography at a local café, where three photos were sold to raise money for 流浪动物救助站.

What attracts me to your club is the documentary project about rural life. I think preserving these vanishing scenes through photography is meaningful. I can lead workshops on composition techniques or help edit the final photo book.
